Sally Morris: BSc (Hons) MCSP, MHCPC, AACP
Sally is excited to be joining the First Physio team working within a dynamic physiotherapy practise which offers a fantastic environment to work being based within a large gym space with state of the art equipment and space to optimise her patient diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
Sally graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy at Oxford Brookes University in 2007. The following year she qualified with an Active IQ Level 3 certificate in Personal Training and Sports Massage Therapy. Since 2008 Sally has worked as a Senior Specialist Physiotherapist at a number military bases across the UK and abroad alongside private practises and sporting environments.
Her work has included 4 years as the lead Physiotherapist at 30 Commando Royal Marines, alongside which she provided pitch-side Physiotherapy for the Royal Marines Corps Rugby Union team. Sally has also specialised in spinal rehabilitation at DMRC Headley Court and deployed to Norway as Clinical Lead for Arctic Warfare training in 2014.More recently, Sally has worked part time for Nuffield Health, gaining valuable experience in post operative ward based orthopaedic care and triage services for private insurance providers.
Sally prides herself in using her 8 years of varied experience as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to deliver effective manual therapy treatments and rehabilitation programmes for a wide array of injuries. Sally has continued to add to her clinical expertise with qualifications in Acupuncture, Kinesiology taping and APPI Pilates (Clinical Pilate’s). Personally she has maintained her own fitness competing in the British, European and World class competitive Strongwoman 2013-15 (U75kg).
