Emma Brimacombe, BSc Hons, Personal Trainer and International Body Balance Instructor
Emma attended Loughborough University (1997-2000) and read Physical Education, Sports Science and Recreation Management. Whilst at Loughborough Emma worked with a variety of athletes competing in team and individual sports.
Emma has worked at Fitness First Exeter, since 2004, as a Personal Trainer and also teaches group exercise in the form of 'Body Balance'. Body Balance incorporates yoga, pilates and tai chi, choreographed to music, and improves core stability, relative strength and flexibility.
1:1 personal training sessions with Emma last for an hour and are specific to your individual goals and needs. Equipment is available at the gym to measure variables such as body mass index, body fat percentage, muscle mass and peak flow, so tracking your progression is easy! 1:1 sessions are charged at £30 and can be booked by calling Emma directly on: 07966 285420.
James Buckingham, PT level 3, PICP 1 and 2, Bio signature, Sports Massage and PIMST REPS and Poliquin registered
James is a Personal Trainer and Strength Coach working at Fitness First in Exeter and freelancing throughout Devon. He has 30 years experience in athletic endeavour having competed at National level gymnastics, County swimming and Army level boxing and rugby. He currently strength coaches Devon Schools of Rugby, among others, and trains various National athletes in the region.
