Sports Massage and Aromatherapy

There are a number of massage therapists available, offering expertise in sports massage, for both performance enhancement and exercise recovery, and for general relaxation.

Ryan Hardy

Ryan qualified as a sports therapist in 2006, specialising in deep tissue massage. He worked on a 5* cruise liner during 2006 and 2007, perfecting the art of aromatherapy, with heated volcanic stones used alongside therapeutic oils, for relieving both stress and muscle tension. Along with treating passengers, Ryan aided the dancers onboard by providing warm up effleurage massage and after show muscle relaxation, including soft tissue release techniques and stretches, helping to reduce the strain of performing night after night. Qualifications in fitness and personal training give Ryan the edge when it comes to knowing how sports injuries can occur, thus making his treatments individual and empathetic. Ryan is a practical, hands-on therapist, easily approached and willing to accommodate any special requirements, providing an excellent initial consultation and ongoing care.
